Welcome to the new Oregon MPH Alumni Association Homepage!
The OMPH Alumni Association was established to build a strong network of support for the graduates of our program. The Alumni Association's primary objective is to reconnect alumni for informational, professional, and social networking. In addition, the Alumni Association serves as an advisory resource for the continual growth and development of the OMPH Program. Especially as this is a new endeavor,we welcome your input and participation!
Alumni Association President, Karie Harris, MPH

Please join us in welcoming our new Alumni Association President, Katie Harris! Katie graduated from the Health Management & Policy Track at Portland State University in June 2010 and has served as both a campus and track respresentative for the OMPH program.
Click here to join the Alumni Association and update your contact information.Katie currently works as an Operations Technical Specialist for Volunteers of America Oregon, a social service organization that provides a range of supportive and empowering services to the Portland Metro area's most vulnerable populations. In her role Katie provides professional technical assistance to the Treatment Services and Children & Family Services Divisions in the areas of research, program development and implementation, budget administration, grant writing, contract and project management, and monitoring the implementation of the Divisions’ strategic plans. Additionally, Katie serves at the chair of VOA’s Tobacco Policy Committee and has acted as a field experience supervisor to MPH practicuum students at VOA.

The OMPH Alumni Assocation is throwing an Open House for all alumni on
Saturday, September 17th from 4 - 7 pm
at Elephants Delicatessen's Garden Room
on NW 22nd and Burnside.
Come and mix & mingle and network with other alums!
Drinks and appetizers will be served!
Parking is available on-site and public transportation (Max, bus, streetcar) also all run nearby.

Profiles
The Graduate Certificate in Public Health (GCPH), offered through OHSU School of Nursing, is now accepting applications for admission Winter 2012 and Fall 2012. The GCPH is offered online. Information about the GCPH can be found here.
