Oregon MPH offered at Oregon State University
This track will give students an understanding of how exposures to hazardous chemical, physical, or biological agents affect human health, the environment and organizational resources. The Environment, Safety & Health MPH track will prepare students to control such hazards and comply with the myriad of environmental, safety and health legislation.
Track Learning Competencies

Identify and assess the major environment, safety, and health hazards that impact workers and the general population.

Communicate culturally appropriate strategies for preventing and controlling environment, safety and health hazards.

Conduct environment, safety and health applied research.

Analyze the interrelationship among the organization, delivery, and financing of environment, safety and health-related services.

Apply environment, safety and health knowledge and skills in practical settings.

Adhere to established ESH professional ethical standards and practices.
