And there is an abundance of volunteer opportunities at Neighborhood House: --Direct service volunteers work directly with clients, under the supervision of professionally trained staff --Supportive volunteers work "behind the scene," accomplishing the many tasks that make the delivery of human services possible --Special project volunteers plan and execute particular activities that generate financial and in-kind resources to support the Agency --Group projects are periodically planned to engage the time and talents of groups seeking a short-term service experience

The Coalition of Community Health Clinics is a non profit agency dedicated to the support of our members, a network of fourteen private, non-profit health clinics throughout Multnomah County. These clinics provide health services to the uninsured and under-served men, women and children in the Portland Metropolitan area. Volunteer Medical Interpreting at a community clinic gives you an opportunity to provide an important health service to low-income and uninsured patients.
Many of our clinics are staffed by volunteer providers. Join other medical professionals who have made a difference in their community by helping those families and individuals who cannot afford their own, or even their children’s, medical care.
The Coalition uses interns and volunteers on a regular basis. We currently have undergraduate and graduate interns who work in Access & Referral, Interpretive Services, Research, Grant Writing, and provide administrative support to the Executive Director. We couldn’t provide as much as we do without them!
